
Hoping bit of lubrication at base of where the rod goes into the actuator has helped, now hoping it doesnt catch on inside of the downpipe.


New metal gasket for downpipe/wastegate junction fitted today also, getting the down pipe back on was a Pig!

Hot and cold pipes back on and all other bits and pieces, but by this time had gone dark.


Also somehow battery has gone a bit flat so its on charge at the mo.


Is it normal for these cars to have such a titchy battery? never seen one like it b4.


Next job is to whip Cam cover off and check timing marks if i find exhaust cam is out for instance, i then have to decide if I'm feeling brave enough to redo the cam belt
