Injector o rings

Post by archangel »

Hi all,

The seals on my 880cc delphi injectors are knackered and im trying to source some replacements but i cant find anywhere that does them. I had a look at the seals that were on my old 440cc injectors but they arent a good fit so not much use. Any pointers would be much appreciated. They are top mount injectors going into a sard fuel rail on a rev 1 turbo.

Thanks
Rev1 Tubby, Garrett GT3071R, Motec M4 EMS, 880cc delphis, Rev3 turbo port polished built head/cams/titanium retainers, shim under buckets, HD springs, etc., rear bumper mounted intercooler, and vanilla air freshener.

For future reference for anyone else that needs to replace these the big o ring (brown one) you need at the bottom of the injector is 7.65mm inner diameter, 14.5mm outer diameter. The small top o rings have a similar inner diameter (though the ones I received are marginally too loose on the inner diameter which always results in pinching (but my selas on the fuel rail side seem to be ok) so I guess whatever is the next step down from 7.65mm inner diameter and is just under 12mm outer diameter.

This is what my injector looks like and I've been told it's a modified Rochester injectors with the top turned down to take a smaller seal to fit in the fuel rail (SARD top feed in my case).
