Might be picking up an engine for my rev 3 uk mr2.

I was wondering how heavy an engine is? And can it fit into a golf?

engine with gearbox is very heavy 190kg. Doubt two people could lift it. Without the gearbox two people to lift engine and one to lift gearbox.

If you're putting it in the boot of a car make sure it is strapped down.

Thanks will strap to pallet. No gearbox. Just engine with ancillaries. Can the car handle the weight? Thanks

We got a engine and gearbox in a ford fista but i took it all apart so yes it will fit but ur interior will be messed up and weight wise just think it as 3 heavy people in the back it ok
