well today started off so well was set to get my apexi r33 back box fitted got to the place and all went well, got the grill cut off nice and neat with the plasma cutter :) and got the exhaust in a position i was happy with as i was wanting it to sit at the angle the blitz supra system sits,

anyway when it was all done i checked and i am really dissapointed with the angle it has ended up so if i can get in tomorrow its getting changed then if not monday lol

as you can see its not bad overall but it gives the impression its pointing down over even though its not, however looks nothing like the supra 1 i gave for reference

Image

on a + note my front strut brace i won on ebay for £4.99 turned up from 2fast 2cool which i didnt think it was going to lol so bargain there even if it is an ebay special lol

Image

and besides all this the car underneath looks great

Image

did notice the cancer bars look a little scabby but there getting changed for the stainless 1's i bought :D

but despite all these ups and downs of the day on my first real drive of the car i found it despite comprehensive service history to be very sluggish and slow, lacking power

then after the car sitting for a good 4 hours i started it up and revved it cold i will add and there was a big cloud of rather smelly dark smoke unsure of black or blue but it wasnt condensation :(

any suggestions on what it may be or am i best putting a new engine in her, i also could hear a faint whine from the gearbox in first :(

I'm using 2011 Yaris washer jets, they are a straight swap and give a much better spray pattern, Toyota part number 85381-52250 NOZZLE SUB-ASSY, WASHER

well today i decided it was time to fit my import rear bumper so everything was on the car ready for paint,

and why i was there i would fit my led number plate bulbs, everything went to plan right up until the drivers side rear rub strip inner arch bolt decided it didn't want to play ball lol, so out came the grinder and off it came to reveal a pretty scabby rear arch so sods law the bumper will be back off when in for paint but all in all the rear end is very clean and tidy :D

Image
Image
Image

the passenger side which is like new :)

Image

and the rather tatty drivers side

Image

cleaned it up with the flappy disc but will be getting cut out and replaced when in the bodyshop

Image

and fitted and back together with the led number plate bulbs in which turned out to be a right pain after i put everything back together to turn around and see them on the floor haha

Image
Image

also removed the ariel ready to post to blaster1 which is like new :)

Image
Image

also have my rigid strut braces to fit but cant decide on weather to re coat them yellow or another colour ????

Image

my new frunk liner clips came too so replaced all them with new also :D its all starting to come together now :)

So funny that you wanted the narrow plate rear bumper, and all I want is a UK/Euro wide plate rear bumper.
