[Mk2] [NA] antifreeze time and bleeding systrem?

Just drained my cooling system to put antifreeze in.

Removed right hand hose and revved till enough come out.

Put a gallon of antifreeze in.

Now I need to bleed system heaters arnt getting hot...

Any advice please.

Note, it can take 15-20 minutes idling before the thermostat opens and coolant starts circulating around the radiator.

Wow...cheers for speedy response.

Am I alright with the normal blue antifreeze, it's what I put in all my cars?

Maybe I was lucky.
After getting ready to follow procedure it bled quite easily.
Things that might of helped....
Left for Several days.
Started a few times quickly getting to temperature and squeezing coolant hose on the top right and then both smaller hoses top left (heater)?
Found it took some more water and heaters got hot.
Radiator was hot all through
checked after several days and found level to be good.

Happy days all bled
