OK I admit I haven't pushed on with this too fast but currently putting things back together after doing the HG.

Following the 5S-FE guide pg EM40 is says

'pry puller as far to left as it will go then tighten bolt'

my question is that after timing belt alignment is the bolt meant to be loosened to allow tension before turning the crankshaft 2x to 0 timing mark? And upon loosening should you see the pully move to the right from the spring tension and thus tighten the belt? Currently I'm not seeing the pully move after loosening the bolt when the cambelt is on.
