GT comes fully loaded - aircon/leather/steering fogs/electrically folding mirrors/usually T-Bar etc etc - it's basically the 'Ghia' of the range.
GT-S may well have these fitted, but they were optional from the factory as opposed to being standard and they're generally tin tops (although they'll invariably have aircon, I'm not aware of any not having a/c)
The GT-S was intended for people who wanted to be able to spec up a lighter car.

Excellent!! Is there much of a price difference between the two or are they roughly about the same. Suppose the GT will generally be a few hundred quid more, correct?

not really, as most people dont recognise the difference there is hardly any difference in price between the 2. the value is dictated by the condition and mileage of the car more so than the spec.

Well i've only been looking for about a month now and although there appears to be loads for sale a lot are either rev 2s or tatty rev 3s. Though there are those rev 3s for about £7500 which are out of my price range unfortunatly. I am starting to realise this may take some time.
