Engine lid help
Is there easy way to get access into the engine bay with the release cable broken?

Cable has been caught in the door and is kinked.
Tried like hell to pu at it from the normal part and also where the kink is but it's not budging.
I can see a spring from the boot end of the lid, if I fiddled about in there could I possibly open it if I slid something in there?
