Rear Bumper Slam Impact Beam Bar

Am I right in thinking that there are only two variants of the SW20 Rear Bumper Slam Impact Beam Bar, UK and import. And that an import beam bar from an n/a would therefore fit a jdm turbo.

Do you mean the black fibreglass bar behind the rear bumper? If so I'd imagine the only difference would be to accommodate the different shape rear bumpers, which have different shape numberplate recesses.

Yes that's the one. Thanks for the part numbers.

As you say I'd assumed the only difference was to accommodate the two different styles of number plate, I couldn't see any reason other than that as to why the turbo and na shouldn't be interchangeable, but just wanted to check as I may need to get hold of one soon.

Are you getting the impact beam too?

A may be repairing my tubby after a kind lady rearranged it's rear end and just wanted to make sure it didn't matter whether parts came from an n/a or tubby provided they were from a JDM import.

It's early days yet. Just doing a bit of research whilst waiting for the insurance company to inspect the car so I can take it to the local body shop to explore my options.

I once fitted a UK bumper and impact bar to an import car ( prefered an oblong plate after some clown rear ended my car ), it will fit straight on but you will need to cut away the steel number plate supports which are spot welded to the imports rear panel .
