[Mk2] [Turbo] Shim Bank - Mark 2 Rev 3

Post by Big L »

Hi,

I see there is a shim bank for mark 1's, is there one for the mark 2's rev 3 shim under bucket?

I've lapped some new valves in and the clearances are now zero on the intake side!

Thanks

Just FYI, the shims from some old Peugeot engines fit perfectly. I'm using them on mine.

There isn't a Mk2 equivelent.

I have my own shim bank of many hundreds of over and under shims.

PM me your requirements and i'm sure we can come to a deal.

Hi Mark, thanks for the info, I'll look into that.

Hi Peter, I'll need to work out the sizes this week then I'll be in touch, thanks.

For anybodies information, the shims are through hardened so can be ground down if required.
