[Mk2] [NA] dash lights
hi my mate at the garage has just replaced my master cylinder for my clutch but when iv gone to pick it up all my dash warning lights are on which I know is the alternator but my question is the lights are on when my engine is ticking over but when I rev or drive the lights on my dash go off! can anybody help please? thanks

what voltage are you getting at idle v when the engine is revving? Sounds like the alternator isn't giving enough power but if it was working fine before the garage work, not sure why it would suddenly break afterwards.

12.7. but my battery did end up draining to a flat. what puzzles me is that when I rev the lights go off. I just thought it would have been a short circuit or something :/
