Keep plugging away, phone everyone you can find (internet, back of magazines) what ever. sooner of later you'll get a decent quote.
Took 2 days for me but got there in the end, chin up :thumleft:

As with previous replies, your age, postcode, driving history will have a massive influence on your premium. As far as customer service goes, I had a great experience with AIB insurance in recent weeks, a competitive quote but Darren there is just great (in contrast to sky, who used to be great but this time couldn't have been less interested and didn't ask any details before telling me they couldn't match my previous quote).

My quote was just under £300 on a 97 na on 3000 miles a year with no NCB as I've had company cars and my NCB lapsed as it's been 4 years since I last had an MR2 on the road.

But for real people and great service I can't recommend AIB enough.
