 Yes of course they will, they do have a very good reputation.

Don't know about Street Racers, can't find a website.

Ryan, If it's the same place Jo's been to before, they have a bloke with a huge flexible ducting aiming air at the appropiate places.

(Sorry I'm really not of much use - I've never been to a Rolling Road - only seen video on Jo's phone)

the opposite is the case with me the whole point of an MR2 Club is that we have MR2's or else there is no point :? :?

Just what is the point of this comment ?

I currently own a rev2 turbo. If it is soon I will be able to attend with it. If it takes time I will not. It has already been agreed earlier in the post about another non MR2 being allocated a place, & at every single MR2 organised rolling road day I have attended there has been cars of other makes taking part.

the point of the comment is that I my opinion it becmes pointless to have any MR2 event open to non MR2's thats it .It was clear in my last post!

FFS are we at playschool???

If it means that much to you then i'll tell my partner that she has to leave her car at home then shall i???

Tell you what, i'll stay at home too so as not to offend you with any non-MR2 speak!

Happy?

By all means come along to this event as it seems open to allcomers I just thought itwould be more interesting to get a group of MR2;s together on the RR and see what mods did what it just gets a bit blurry when its a general day for all makes. I will try to make this point as clearly as possible "FOR ME" it loses its point so I will not be there thats all no offence was ever meant at any point.

Not a bad Idea but my original intention when I badgered MK1chick to set this up was to get MR2's together on the rollers then you get an idea of what mods work and cant swap tricks and best places to get things done etc. now its an allcomers day so you stand a poor chance of learning anything useful :? dont worry about going alone 'cause MR2 folk are generally a friendly bunch 10 mins in and you will feel you've known them ages  but I realy am not interested in astra's on the RR. I will say again this is my opinion an I'm entitled to it ](*,)

Kevin, i know that's you opinion and yes you are entitled to it but i really don't see your problem.

if 20 cars turn up and 1 or 2 of them are non-MR2s then how exactly is that going to effect anything?

I have been to a few rolling road days with various clubs (including IMOC) and TBH the cars are on and off the rollers so quickly that you won't even notice the "astras" being tested and if anything it will give you a short break from the loud MR2's!

Phew!
Just read the posts from over the weekend!

=; SETTING THINGS STRAIGHT:

[-X This is an MR2 day, but lets not get too picky about maybe just the one or two cars coming with partners or ex-MR2 owners who are still massive enthusiats with loads of MR2 knowledge.(eg they are still IMOCers or MK1'ers but just a different car due to circumstances) This is not an open event tho' so dont get twitchy everyone it will be focused on MR2's.
I think this will be a good day to chat, drink lots of tea/coffee, etc and have fun.

secondly, i think streetracers will be fine, friendly and cheap too (think maybe £25 per car if we get more than 15 cars) so better for our pockets. I already posted their website addy (still under construction) but here it is again:

http://www.streetracersgd.co.uk/

obviously if you want a tuning day this is different - ie you go somewhere with one car, spend all day tweeking and tuning with numerous runs on the rollers. this is just an opportunity for us to see what mods produce what BHP :)
