MR2 misfire

Post by Leemeg99 »

hi, i am a newby on this forum, so any help would be welcome.
i have just purchases a 1992 MR2 g-limited.which had been standing 3 years and still looked pretty good. i did a little work to it and it sailed through the MOT.
However it feels like it is running on 3 cylinders. i have checked spark and all 4 are okay but it is No4 cylinder which appears not to be firing.
Any ideas

thanks :?:

Could do.

If car has been standing 3 years i suggest you start with basics - do a compression test. If all OK, then see above.

I wouldn't expect any car to run perfectly without a major service after three years of standing.
