Discussion and technical advice the SW20 MR2. 3S-GTE, 3S-GE, 3S-FE etc
Anything and everything to do with maintenance, modifications and electrical is in here for the Mk2.
Thinking of buying these http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/br-series-co ... a-563.html
I've fitted coils before but only to an older car. I only needed to swap the suspension.
Wondered with the mr2 is it worth replacing anything whilst it's all apart down there? Is there anything that needs to be replaced anyway if you're lowering it?

Well i'd recommend polybushes anyway as they are harder and improve handling.
well you will need to replace your front droplinks as they are shorter on the BC's but if you are buying brand new then they provide droplinks.
Depending on how low you are going you might want to get RCA's
Roll Camber Adjusters.
Basically as you lower a car it pushes the camber out meaning less contact with the road now the single wishbone suspension on the MR2 is already not brilliant with camber as the compression of the spring causes less contact with the road lowering the car exaserbates this. RCA's bring the camber back to the correct level as such maintaining contact with the road better.
If that makes sense
