My MK3 MR2 is for sale.

It's a 6-speed manual facelift 04 plate in sable grey.

80000 on the clock.

Facelift involves restyled front and rear ends

(the front gained foglights) and a stiffer chassis, as well as having 16" rear wheels.

It has a leather interior.

The bodywork is in excellent condition

- I recently had it professionaly detailed/mopped and it came up like new.

The roof is in good condition and doesn't leak.

'Ear' strap is all present and correct, no ears when folding the roof down.

Heated rear glass is perfect.

I bought it in March of this year to do a few Euro road trips in which it has done faultlessly

- it's a lovely car to drive.

It has recently been serviced with genuine Toyota parts

(at 76500 miles) and has had new Toyota discs and pads all round and new rear Toyo tyres in the last few months, as well as new anti-roll bar droplinks.

I have also recently fitted new front foglights, Bosch Aerotwin wipers and it's had 2 of the 3 O2 sensors replaced with genuine Denso parts.

It has the optional Toyota/TTE sports exhaust fitted which makes the 1ZZ engine sound sporty as opposed to a horrible high pitched clattery thing as it is standard.

A nice deep note at idle with plenty of burble and the odd pop and bang, without being anti social.

I have changed the front badge to a blue MR-S one, and stuck a white MR-S decal on the wind deflector.

I fitted Yaris fan-style washer jets.

I still have the original badge and washer jets which will be in the glovebox.

I have fitted a Grom Android/USB MP3 kit to the stock head unit, which also functions as a Bluetooth hands free kit.

So you can stick your tunes on a memory stick or stream them wirelessly from your phone

(as well as sat nav directions) and it all works seamlessly with the standard stereo.

It has the standard Toyota McGuard locking wheel nuts, and the stock toolkit.

It has an unused space saver front wheel, and I have moved the alarm siren so that you can invert the wheel in the frunk and get more luggage in

(or ditch it completely for some tyre weld and gain loads more space).

Stock Toyota alarm w/remote central locking is present, I have both original remote keys and the grey valet key, as well as the metal tag you need to get more keys made.

It has a spare bulb kit

(not an easy thing to find for the facelift!) and EU marked number plates, ready for travelling abroad.

The car has a full dealer service history up until 2009.

I have receipts for everything I've done with it since March but there is a gap before my ownership.

It doesn't burn a drop of oil

(level hasn't moved on the dipstick since its service in June), and has had the precats removed when I bought it.

Last but not least, it's got a brand new rear subframe

- this is another issue with the MK3 which you will not need to worry about with this one.

Of course, it had a full laser wheel alignment after the subframe was done.

There's a bit of wear on the driver's seat.

There are a couple of small stone chips on the bonnet.

These are to be expected on an 80000 mile 10 year old car.

6 months on it.

MOT until November.

There is a luggage rack in some of these photos

- that is not included in the sale.

It will be on show and can be purchased at JAE.

£3500.
