Head bolt washers

Post by smithy4564 »

Hi everyone.

I posted in the wanted section but not had any replies :(

I've had a six month break from rebuilding my cylinder head, due to the birth of my daughter and the incredible ability of babies to take up every waking hour of your day!

I've forced myself back into it, but now I'm missing 5 of the washers that go under the head bolts. I've tried a few breakers, who've all told me the cars usually fail due to rust not engine problems so engine parts are thin on the ground.

Any suggestion of where I can get some from? I've read the specs for some M10 washers which are about 1mm thinner, which I guess is no good?

Any help greatly received.

Best one line reply ever! I'd read a load of scare stories about them being £10 each from toyota, just checked now and they're £1.20 each

Cheers Paul, much appreciated.
