[Mk2] [Turbo] Heater Pipes from Hell

Post by garym01 »

Hi Guys,

So one of my heater pipes have cracked, giving me a water leak. I know this is a common fault.

So I looked around and I can see 3 solutions.

1. go to Toyota and spend a fortune getting it replaced with new and I know they now put something in place to stop it happening again.

2. Get replacement pipes from ebay around £50 inc Del and have a local garage fit them.

3. Get replacement rubber hoses which are easier to fit therefore should take less time, pipes are around £95. I would still use a garage, don't have time or equipment to fit at home.

So recommendations from you all, which way should I go.

Thanks

Your choice.

We will only replace the pipe with new or s/h to guarantee a permanant repair. Onbviously at home you have no liability so can choose whichever method you prefer.

Good to hear from you Pete.

Can you text me how much you would charge to do the repair for me and also if you can do it at my place. Bit worried to drive it to you for obvious reasons.
Thanks
