Goodbye IMOC hello Ford Focus owners....

I write this message in a very excited state...
tommorrow i will be become the proud owner of a high performance hatchback.
yes, thats right...
a 1.8 Treg focus. 8)

ive had a G-Ltd, which i think is the pick of all the mr2's.
a GT-Turbo, which was my dream car, but turned out to be too quick...
then i got the apitamy of all mr2's, the classic, the mk1.
the mk1 caused me so much grief, i decided to trade in for a sensible car, i do too many miles to be overheating all the time... :(

basically, i will return in 3 years when my insurance allows me to be graced with the almighty GT-Turbo again.
til then, its focus for sensible branny, and my SV650 ( :D ) for fun!!!!

C Ya!!!!

(and cheers to the mk1 guys for all the help!!! =D> )

hello Ford Focus owners....

Hello!!!

Sorry to hear that your mk1 gave you nothing but trouble, cos I switch between the two all the time, and although the focus is a mighty decent car compared to a mk1 (ride better, better fuel ecomony, air con, airbags, abs etc etc), it's nowhere near as much fun..

Btw, friend of mine does have a 1.8, and found it a lot happier with a replacement K&N and spark plugs (Ford almost never replace sparkies as a serviceable item)

How come this guy gets to say goodbye in the general section and when I tried it my post got moved. Could Lauren have finally chilled out a bit?.....

Shame your leaving for a Focus.
I've never had any trouble with my mk1. It's my everyday car and since April I have covered 5000 hassle free miles. :D
Still, there is always the exception.

After buying a sensible car (my R plate 2.0 16v mondeo) to save fuel and that I got so sick of it that just 6 months later i was back with my 1st mk1.....it's only coz that got written off that I had to buy a micra....soon as could afford it I went for another mk1 (present) after owning a primera eGT.
