cheers mate, been following your thread too.

Must be like driving a brand new car.

Really nice job and nice touches.

Im imagining MR2 specialists must have no skin on their knuckles ever, and have a great many tools involving removing stuck and snapped bolts

Been out in the sunshine today removing the skirts, wings, rear bumper and spoiler.

Glad to say nothing nasty found behind the skirts just a bit mucky, looks like some one has done a really good job of waxoil in the past, and I reckon without the draintubes of T-bars and sunroofs the sills on a tin tops get a lot less wet.

Even the sponge inside was still brand new and bone dry.

Out on the side street outside to turn it round to better to protect it under the car port.

Our lass isn't happy as now its summer the car shouldn't be in the garden anymore the carport isn't really a carport, its for our garden furniture.

Plenty of summer for that left love!

Having a problem with my Toms spoiler though, previous owner decided to bodge up the aerial hole, I don't know if it was a rev 2 or 3, and I don't know if there is any other differences between a rev2 and rev 3 Toms spoiler other than the placement of the aerial hole.

Upon fixing the Toms spoiler on and looking to see where to redrill the spoiler it doesn't appear that spoiler come over far enough, more like it needs a chunk taking out of the spoiler rather than a hole through it, Ive tried to take to pictures to show what I mean.

In the above I couldn't get the boot to shut, below I removed the aerial to check how far its out.

Any ideas anyone?

Finished for the night
