We're doing the long trip again - out on the Monday, driving down through France then back up through Switzerland, probably Austria (and possibly Italy) before heading up to Dudetown for the Friday. Coming back on Sunday.

Mine will all depend on the dates that it is. But I would probably favour doing the Friday and back on Monday. I had considered going on the Thursday and then sleeping in the car on Thursday night to be there earlier on the Friday.

Need to book my ferry!
Hey all....through my sporadic ultra low speed internet here in Turkey I whatsapp'd Mario.
Dates are confirmed as Friday to Sunday 25th - 27th July, and a new camping location is Forsthaus Hubental in a village called Breitenberg. He says it is a little cheaper than last year.
He also did mention that it does not have a shower so we must all go swimming???? Whatever that means!

That was the one Mario was talking about last year: http://www.huebental.de
Looks nice to be fair. We were thinking of going for a room rather than camping. No showers though. Reckon you'll have to go swimming German style. I'm sure Peter (is he coming?) will show you how.
After last years shenanigans with Beno the old place was a simple no go.
It looks like Mish and I are going to have to pull out this year.
Things are very complicated in our little worlds and the event is proving quite stressful and expensive to organise in our current situations.
If anything changes and we can last minute it, then we will be back on board.
But for now, we are bowing out.
Good luck and I hope to hear the stories at JAE.
Damn Si, so sorry to hear that.
I understand the pressures of trying to correlate everything, i cannot even confirm if truly going for a couple of weeks due to work.
Let alone two diaries!
If not, then see you at JAE for a (meaning several) beers.
Sadly I'm out too. I spent way way too much on what was supposed to be a trimmed down trip to Le Mans on the cheap, and I just can't afford it Wenchy isn't coming either.
IMOC-UK - the only club to win 'Best Club Stand' at JAE more than once, and twice in a row!
Nooo!!!!
Looks like only me and Malc representing this year!!! edit...and John and Yana....
