New 1990 MR2 Owner!

Hey I've just bought a 1990 GT T-Bar in white! It has 143,000 miles and was my brothers friends before mine. Its not a minter by any stretch but my aim is to get it looking as good as possible over the summer! Just a few questions really:

The temp gauge doesn't work any ideas?
Sometimes it wont start after it rained?
Speedo stopped working yesterday?

Other than that I love it! Ill post up some pics later on when I get chance but any help/info would be welcomed!
