[Mk2] [NA] Which boss kit Rev2?

Hi there,

I am up for buying a new steering wheel for my 92 Rev2, see pic and link at bottom.

For this I require a boss kit, now the steering wheel seller on eBay is also selling boss kits and I found 2 for the MR2 SW20.

Do you happen to know which one I should take or if they fit in the first place? I would put my bet on the normal one.


1. Short version

I also found that there is different type for UK SW20 rev1 and UK SW20 rev2-5+JDM SW20 rev1-5. Difference is the amount of splines on the steering column I assume?

What about Europe rev 2 without power steering and airbag, should then go for the UK rev2-5 type?

Has anyone else got any thoughts on this?

I'm after a shorter hub for my rev 3 as the deep dish steering wheel means I can't reach the stalks without removing my hands completely.

Just not sure such a thing exists or where to find them?

Both boss kits should fit! Just a pain if you have a rev 4 and have to spend 5 hours cutting the horn connector off the self cancelling wheel and solder a new one in, hahahahaha(worth it though)!!
rev 1+2 i dont think have this problem so its a 5minute job!-_-
They should fit airbag models (like mine) without an srs light as the airbag isnt electrically connected to the car. Just pops out the wheel easy peasy!:)
