No i did not touch the arches yet was not sure where to cut so Fit then cut , the wheels that are on it will stay on it on till i find a set of ssr , i will cut the arches when im lowering the car , 18s will be the size of the wheels wont go any bigger

I see... Hopefully you can still make a tidy job of welding the two skins together with the new arches in place, any pics of the sill repairs?

No pics of the sill was a quick cut and weld job then filler to smooth it out , crap i was thinking just to cut the arch back did not think it needed to be welded

You definitely need to weld the arch. Cut the arch lip off about an inch or so up from where it is now and weld the two skins back together to restore the strength to the shell.. tbh I would remove the wide arches to do it properly.

Personally I wouldn't have tigersealed them onto the existing paint anyway, I would have taken it to metal, laid up a layer of fibreglass mat over the metal and then glassed the arches on to that.. Kind of hard to explain without pictures (I'm on my phone) but that's the "right" way to do it.

Bond/rivets is great for over fenders that people use on S body nissans etc where they're not blended in but if you just bond/rivet then filler over the top it's likely to crack

Right thanks for the info i kinda know what your saying , im might just roll them see can i get away with it, i used windscreen bond called urethane , i hope there are no crack

Right the rear quarters wont be cut as the arches are never coming off that car , the bond is way to strong and the sideskirts are bonded to the bottom lips of the arches i was thinking of just beating them up a little if i have to

Just a quick update got the car painted still a little more work to be done , exhaust is to be fitted petrol flap and a rear defuser part

shiny wheels they look good maybe not my favs but the overall look is good.

Are you keeping the rear rev3/4 spoiler on, nor tempted by the TRD one?

Looks great much prefer it with the rev3 spoiler rather than trd one.
