Rays - Volk Racing - TE37

Post by reggie »

Selling these amazing super light wheels as I no longer have an MR2 to put them on :(

Genuine Rays TE37's in White

Sizes
16x7 et33
16x8 et38

Tyres
Uniroyal Rainsport 2's
205 45ZR16W with 8mm tread (basically new)
225 45ZR16W with 4mm tread

Perfect wheels for the MR2, they came off mine (see garage). Some minor kerb rash (pictures on demand - that should give me a little time to clean them up)

£800 collected

Well, the increase from OEM 15's to 16's gives you a much better choice of tyres. 17's increase the unsprung weight even further. Although it gives you less tyre wall flex on a set of 17's, 16's are lighter giving better acceleration and deceleration aka performance. 17's for show, 16's for a pro and TE37's are probably the lightest wheels you're going to get!

You would be better with the 16" I put a set of the 17" te37s on the other day and they weigh exactly the same as the standard 15" wheels. So you will save weight. Sorry not personally interested in buying myself since I have a set and love them!
