Rev 5 NA

Post by Krish »

For sale is my 2000 Toyota MR2.

99,000 miles on the clock

In black with moonroof (no leaks).

MOT until 21/03/2015 (just done).

Car is in good condition.

Just serviced

Full brake refurbishment with news discs and pads all round, one caliper replaced, all sliders removed, cleaned and re-greased and finally handbrake adjustment.

The car is HPI clear.

There are no knocks or bangs, engine runs very smoothly.

The car is totally standard apart from the sound system which has a disc changer.

I bought this because I wanted a late rev 5 but couldn't find a tbar model. Thinking I would be happy with this, I was not and now have a rev 4 tbar.

Problems:
Clutch is slipping on WOT. Fine if you drive normally. I have a new clutch and was going to fit it with the help of Kayjay but I just don't have time and need the car sold.

Taking an epic loss on this because of the clutch!

£1400 ono

Hi Krish,
What mileage is the car on? Also just to note, it was only the Beams engine that was VVTI.

Mileage is 99,000 and original post updated.

Always thought there was some sort of variable valve timing system on these after 5500rpm??

That'd be the ACIS (Accoustic Control Induction System) on a standard (non-beams) 3S-GE engine... :thumleft:

Good luck with the sale Krish
