[Mk2] [Turbo] 16 x 8j et45. will they rub on the front?
Ive got the chance to get some nice 16 inch wheels for my car but im concerned about them rubbing. specs are:
16x8j
et45
tyre size 225/50r16

Even if the alloys fit, the tyres are far too tall. Skyline?
Ideally you'd want ten less offset- or a 10mm spacer. 10mm is one of those annoying sizes though as you'll need extended studs, it's too short for bolt ons. Beside the offset being slightly high, 16x8 is fine, but I'd be inclined to suggest a 215/45 tyre or a 205, because you'll struggle to get 245 or 255 tyres for 16" rears IME and you want 20-30mm stagger. Both of these narrower tyres may be stretched on an 8" wheel though.
