[FINALIZED] 94 Rev 3 turbo spares / repairs - road legal, drive away!

Hi guys,

For Sale is my MR2 Rev 3 Turbo, 75,000 - imported in 2005 with approx 50,000.

She is being sold as Spares or Repairs - as i have just had a compression test done at my local garage and cylinder 3 is lower than the others. 

This car has many (expensive) modifications - and i have heard that the rings can be changed without the engine being removed - so if you have the knowledge a lot of car for very little money.

I'm selling with a heavy heart, as much as i'd love to keep and fix the car - I'm just about to move out into my own property without a garage, so I cannot fix the car in my own time.

The car still drives fine, boosts to 10psi with no problem - performs as quick as i would expect, personally - which makes it so much more of a shame to sell.

When the car is under load, smoke appears out of the oil breather / catch can - I have driven 200 miles and oil levels haven't dropped badly. It doesn't even smoke that bad when its fully warmed up!

Modifications:

Full Veilside kit - professionally fitted.

Full respray in original white - professional not mickey mouse 

Jasmine (?) Cat back exhaust

Nearly BRAND new Fox 17" alloys - with as new tyres - the receipt for £580 is still in the car.

Lowered (suspected Eibach) 

BLITZ dump valve

ARC Super Air induction box

BLITZ Turbo Timer

BLITZ electronic boost controller

short shifter

5 GLOWSHIFT gauges - Multi colour, fancy doo-dahs. Oil Pressure (with samwich plate & wiring installed at filter), Voltage, Water Temp, AFR & boost. I've unplugged these at the moment but were in and working when i bought the car.

Customised Sub box - with 10" alpine Type R Sub to sit behind drivers seat (No amp)

As advised - the car is being sold as spares or repairs due to needing the piston rings replacing - but also please be aware: this is not a show condition car - items such as remote / central locking do not work, and it sounds like drop links on the suspension etc need replacing. Although the car can be driven back no problem - it is being sold as spares or repairs. Apologies for the bad pictures - they don't reflect the paintwork which gleams when clean!

6 moths tax, and MOT until May 7th. £700. Includes half a tank of super unleaded!

Yes it can be done with the engine in. I've had to do it on mine before.

probably better you'd have had it. I would have just stripped it and put some good parts on mine then sold the rest.
