Looks like a really great assembly.

On the other hand, I'd have done without the bonnet mods!

I did think this over but the bonnet is functional as well as aesthetic, Calum. It directs the airflow from the back of the rad over the bonnet which cools more efficiently (rather than it being trapped in the frunk area) and also adds moderate downforce to the front of the car directly over the wheels.

Even if this doesn't prove to be as efficient as claimed I can always get a plain bonnet fitted. Shouldn't be too much trouble.

Is your bonnet mod welded into position or fibreglassed? I want to mod my mk1 bonnet but don't want the weld beads on show... :-k

It's going to be 8M6 Toyota Rav4 and Roadster MK3 blue. A really rich mid to dark blue which I think will show the kit off well Rich and the mirrors and spoiler blade in black. Also, I don't know of anyone on the forums that has a blue one.

Thanks Buddy, that's really appreciated as you for one know what goes into building these. :thumleft:

It's just occurred to me you should consider the E92 M3 dark blue shade. When contrasted with black it looks stunning.

Today Patrick started spraying some of the smaller components, door and boot shuts. This is the first time I've seen the new paint on the panels and there is no doubt that this is going to look jaw-droppingly good.

First the boot shut and underside of the lid, it looks stock from this angle.

The engine cover.

Rear window garnish.

....and finally, the headlight covers, door handles and inspection panels looking very impressive.

Lol, all in good time Chris. I'm back down there on Saturday so hopefully have more pics then.

Fingers crossed it'll also be in top coat as well but I know Patrick's flat out at the moment.
