F/S - MK2 TRD replica body kit panels

Post by Chris_9011 »

I have an almost complete replica TRD bodylit for sale, the only missing parts are the spoiler (but that's the case with most kits on the market), the passenger rear wheel arch extension and the fuel filler cap. I can source the arch extension and the filler cap to make it a complete kit, but you'll have to source your own spoiler.

The kit is located in Stratford-upon-Avon in the Midlands (20 miles south of Birmingham) in the UK, and consists of the following parts:

- Front bumper cover
- Rear bumper cover
- Front O/S wing
- Front N/S wing
- O/S side skirt
- N/S side skirt
- O/S rear arch extension
- Bootlid extension

All parts are made from top quality fibreglass (I believe from the previous owner that the kit parts are Neo Design manufactured parts so almost guaranteed fitment)

I would like £900 for the kit as is...
...or for £1000 I will source the additional parts to complete the kit (not including the spoiler).

Collection only due to size, weight, awkwardness, and fragility of the components (you will probably need a van)

The body panels are the same as used on my TRD replica, and the fitment of my kit is almost second to none:

Allright! Thanks for answering Matt!! :)
I'm interested, but I didn't expect to find a kit that early..
Cause I want to drive spring 2014 to the uk and buy some more stuff for my mk2...

If I can take it with my forwarding agency than I'll write you an massage...
Otherwise I hope it will be still there till next year!

I'll write you an massage if I know more!
Oh and I would buy the full kit.. With the additional parts!

Thx and I hope it's possible with my forwarding agency.. Let's see....

Hi and thanks for the interest, if you pay me for it now via bank transfer I'll more than happilly keep hold of it until you can collect... It'd also give me time to get the required parts moulded too :thumleft:

Out of interest does anyone know how much it would cost to fit and mould the above kit.

A kit will cost a minimum of £1500 if you want a good fitting one (which means saving on fitting costs) and this is not including transport etc. Fitting is a different matter as you have to factor in the cost of a respray so you must be looking at £2k at least for a good job to be done.

However, take a look at Jack-P's build thread as he fitted it all himself so if the kit is a good fitting one then it can be done with some basic skills and you can save quite a bit. http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic. ... sc&start=0

BTW - Chris's price is a bargain, considering you can see how the kit looks on his car (and I've seen this in the flesh). I'd sell one of my Jacob's to get this if I wasn't already sorted.

GLWTS Chris - I wouldn't think this'll be around for too long :thumleft:

Still for sale, and parts required are currently being manufactured so £1,000 gets the complete kit (without the spoiler)
