Now the mirror is loose from the ball joint and there is some sort of bracket loose inside the mirror.
I am the first one that managed to do this? Is there any way to fix it or did I destroy the functionality of the mirror?

Oops......rear view mirror
Accidentially, I removed the screw behind the rear view mirror which is circled in red in the picture below.
Now the mirror is loose from the ball joint and there is some sort of bracket loose inside the mirror.
