Post by rovtomcat93 »

Does anybody no of an Ipod interface that can be used on the standard toyota radio so I can play my ipod through it.

The radio I have is Toyota TF4300.

Thanks

I have a harmann kkardon kit in my work car. Plugs into CIG lighter and aerial socket in standard radio.
You then keep the iPod somewhere and use the separate screen and controller to use it.

Not sure if they sell them.anymore but I may sell mine as I'm getting a new work car with Bluetooth.

BTW I found these to be the best quality instead of those cheap FM transmitters off ebay.

You could get an adapter like this that plugs into the cd changer socket on the back of the head unit, this lists the TF4300.

For that much money why not just buy a new headunit with the functionality you want built in?

you can buy these radio transmitor things that hook up to your iphone, plug into ciggy lighter.
you then tune your radio to match the same frequency.

If it's the original cassette version - a cassette on a wire works perfectly. the wire can be fed behind the head unit so that it is permanently in situ.

The playback quality is far far better than any frequency modulators available. Far neater result as well.
