[Mk2] [NA] Bloody Sills

Post by Marty95 »

HI,

I repaired the rear end of my sills on both sides of my Rev3. As i was sanding the front of the sill CRUNCH I went straight through, The sill has rotted at the front and when I looked inside the inner sill has rotted too. #-o

Should I remove the sill and start again or spray the inner sills with a rust treament.....or send the car to the scrapheep in the sky?

Im in two minds. :-k

It all depends how bad it is and what the car is worth to you.

Get some pictures up so we can see!

As said, it depends completely on what the car means to you. Anything is fixable with money. Alternatively find a clean nonrunner shell and swap into it.

I will have a mint tin-top shell available later this year.
