Guys I could really do with some help.
my rev 2 turbo has been stood for 18 months and ran like a sewing machine when parked up.
I went to recommision it a few weeks ago.
I drained the fuel tank
& put fresh in.
The car will start but runs very lumpy and hot.
So far I've replaced ign coil, plugs dist cap
& rotor.
Replaced temp sensor
& maf
meter.
I've checked all vac pipes etc
& still the same.
I've checked for fault codes
& none stored also checked base timing
& donored various parts off my brothers rev 1.
If I pull a vac hose off will idle better but not drive able.
The plugs are very black with dry soot.
She is a totally standard car with no mods.
Any hints would be greatfull.
I can't get over the way she is running because it was perfect before it took it off the road.
