Just want to say thanks to Peter Gidden, for taking a frantic call for a recon alternator!

Mine was goosed, rusted and solid to boot.

Very goosed.

Rather than wasting my hard earned on some chinese 'bay copy with fireworks for internals, I ordered a recon alternator from Peter Monday, and it was shipped out to me with a new Gates belt for delivery on Wednesday




This was fitted today and all is good, and have peace of mind with 2 years guarantee to boot

The guy that does them for me is retired, in his late 60s He ran his own business reconditioning dynamos, starters etc for 40 years.

He media blasts all the outside parts, replaces all diodes, regulators, bearings etc inside. Makes about £15 per unit and does it to keep himself occupied.

His work is faultless every time.
