1995 White Tom's Kitted Rev 3 Turbo - 77k Miles

Post by Clarkey1990 »

1995 white Tom's kitted GT Turbo

77,600 miles – Still in use, will rise slightly.
Mot-August 2014
Tax November 2013
£3500 ONO

In both my ownership and previous ownership the car has been extremely well looked after. The car has been owned by myself since December 2012 and covered just 5k miles, the previous owner (also an IMOC member) owned the car since October 2007 and covered only 13k miles in his ownership. My only reason for sale is due to me soon to be receiving a company car and just unable to keep both.
Throughout it’s time in the UK the car has been maintained by a mix of Rouge Motorsports, Pacific Works and a local Toyota specialist, a list of items replaced in my ownership:
• New offside front brake calliper
• New distributor cap & rotor arm
• New inner and outer CV boots, both sides
• New steering gaitors, both sides
• Pipes from Hell issue resolved (More info: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic. ... pipes+hell)
• New intake manifold and throttle body gaskets
• New front and rear tyres

Cambelt changed 31/10/09 @ 64,450 miles
Stage 1 clutch installed 20/01/09

The car is very much rust free with a minimal amount beginning to show on the bottom of each door but this can only be seen on very close inspection, arches and sills are good.
I have an A4 folder full of receipts invoices ETC and also all the old MOTS, Toyota owner’s manual, Full workshop service manual CD, Original t-bar covers and 2 keys with alarm fobs.

History of car prior to my ownership:

The car was 1st registered 01/03/1995. It was registered in the UK 01/08/2004. I bought the car 10/10/2007 with 59,000 miles on the clock after a full HPI check. In the five years I have owned the car, I have covered 13,000 miles. In this time it has had the majority of major components replaced. I received very little paper work with the car apart from the Mot certificates, verifying the mileage. When I got the car it required some work. The front and rear discs and pads were replaced as well as the handbrake cables. One of the rear callipers was seized so both rear ones were fully serviced. It was then given a full major service. It also had a Replacement steering rack from Rogue, New tyres and the Original Wheels were refurbished.

16/05/2008 the clutch was replaced with an RPS Street max clutch and lightened flywheel at rogue. The clutch was faulty and was replaced 20/01/2009 with a stage 1 Exedy clutch.

On 09/04/09 the car was leak down and compression tested at Rogue to reveal a cracked piston ring on cylinder 3 as a result of a boost spike from an electronic boost controller. This broke my heart as I had always looked after the engine, warming up and down, carrying out 3 Oil changes in 5000 miles.
After a lot of thinking and a few quotes, I decided to source a low mileage (40,000) Long block and replaced it. While the engine was out the Cambelt was changed 31/10/09, with the car reading 64,450 miles. Also the oil pump, water pump as well as the oil, filters and fluids. I replaced the ignition leads, distributor cap and rotor arms with new genuine Toyota items and NGK cold grade spark plugs. The block, cam cover and heat shields were all also painted/ powder coated professionally.

Hopefully the above covers all you need to know about the car but if you need any further info please don’t hesitate to give me a call. Test drives welcome. I am located fairly centrally in Northampton.
