Fitting Momo Steering Wheel to Rev1 - Horn not working

Post by David »

I fitted a Momo Race to my UK spec n/a Rev 1. The horn no longer works. It seems as though the Rev 1's had a different type of contact than the later models.

Does anyone have a solution to this, can I buy a ring to attach to the boss I'm using or is there a specific Rev 1 boss that I must buy?

You need the Rev1 boss
Designer for turbo set ups on F1 cars, and Nitrous Oxide Systems of the USA in the 80s

I made a similar mistake with mine. Bought a rev1 boss for my rev3. Pretty sure i've still got the rev1 boss in a box somewhere.
Drop me a pm if you're interested and i'll try and dig it out.

Josh.

Thanks v much. How much are you looking for it?

If I swapped the centre assembley, the indicator stalks and horn coil, would it be a better alternative?

About £20. I'll pm you.

I imagine changing all the stalk and everything would be a lot more hassle than just changing the boss.
