I don't understand why you put the charge cooler in the boot and not in the engine bay.

I mean you have lower temps than a boot mounted IC but you have the poor throttle response.

It will easily fit in the engine bay.

OK Buddy. Makes sense but maybe get a recirculating dump valve so that massive space doesn't have to refill with air every shift. An anti-lag system might help if your ECU has that.

Managed to get an hour on it last night to finish of the water side of the CC setup.. I used 22mm chrome plated pipe to make my bends which meant dusting off my pipe benders







Got one or two support clips to put on but its pretty much there

Shame it will never be seen lol...

Now I've finished I've ordered the correct amount of Mikalor clamps so should hopefully be all clamped up and filled by the end of the week

Finally after nearly 3 weeks wait and a complaint my clamps arrived yesterday so I got on it straight away. Dropped a bit of a bollock with 2 sizes so I picked up a couple of 'temporary' clips from Halfrauds to get me by

Clamps all on and charge cooler system filled up and tested for leaks



This morning I've filled and bled the coolant system, put a temp feed to the CC pump for testing and run the car up.. All seems to be fine

After letting the car warm up for about half hour I decided to give it a quick blast at the back of our unit and OMG its quick I kinda got carried away a little tho and ended up blowing a boost pipe off Its back on now and I've just started meshing out the front bumper to protect my new rads :th:

I'm off now to finish off the mesh and start putting the front bumper back onto the car

Managed a couple of hours on Friday and a couple today

After making sure I'd got no leaks I got to fitting the front bumper. Had to mod one of my pre rad brackets but other than that it went pretty much straight back on. Re-fitted both front arch liners too (properly though) and the boot lid

Made a bracket for the PFC hand commander to live and got the centre dash, gear surround and gaiter back on

The lower plastic by the drivers right knee had a hole in it and an aux switch cut into it (not where the blanks are) which I hated so I replaced it with a spare I had and moved the switch to a blank. I also wired a new switch up for the CC pump

Fitted the plastic cover that goes over the rad and modded and fitted the frunk plastic liner





I've started a little clock mod today but more on that tomorrow

Fitted a set of refurbed wiper arms today and a new set of wipers. Also did a few pre MOT checks and everything looks good (to me )

Took the car outside and gave it a much needed wash..... Just a quick one though

Removed the insides of a spare clock I had and fitted a new one which displays time, temp and battery voltage.. I'ts now ready to fit into the car

I saw this on Paul Woods mk1 and stole the idea

Clock is in the car now. I've run the temp sensor into the frunk and through a little grommet to outside so it reads outside temp (although it may read a little colder than it actually is being under the car)

Polished the car and fixed the horn (for now).. Ordered a rev4 steering wheel so the momo will be replaced as soon as that comes

Car goes for an MOT in the morning... I'm pretty sure the brakes will fail but I just want to see what else I need to get done (if anything)

No dude I removed the insides of the clock and replaced them with a kit off eBay
