Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] injectors
just replacing ones with standard ones
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] injectors
Disconnect battery
Remove pipe from throttle body
remove throttle body brace
remove throttle body and coolent lines
/ idle control rubber hose.
Put a rag around fuel rail fuel inlet big nut.

Undo the big nut some fuel will leak out not a lot if car has been left for a few hrs.

Undo fuel line from pressure regulator again rag to catch drips.
put bolt in end of fuel line to stop it leaking.
Undo cold start injector lead and remove cold start fuel pipe.
Unclip injector leads.
Undo the 3 nuts holding in the rail.
It helps to undo the 10mm bolts for the plastic engine harness cover also.
Rail should now come out.
Removing the oil cap gives you a little more room.

Make sure you have the 4 rail seals still on the end of the rail if not make sure they are not stick in head still.

Replace all seals including the outer rail ones.

Its a bit of a fiddle to get rail back in without pinching the seals but take your time.

Before putting throttle body back on bridge the fuel pump and check for leaks.
