I see this almost everyday, heading away from Newcastle, towards Walker, in the mornings and then back towards Newcastle in the evenings.

Always looks well kept and in good condition.

This morning however, slightly different. The T bars were off, nothing too unusual at this time of year. However, poking through the roof on the passenger side was a pair of handle bars!

Good effort, I've seen many things squished into the passenger seat over the years but this is my first spotting of a bike.

I went to Tesco years ago in my previous T bar. Bought a TV, whipped the glass out on the passenger side, and had the TV resting on the door, and against the center bar, sticking out of the roof with our lass holding the TV.

When I had a garden centre, we got some rather huge trees into various cars.

The best one though, was a guy, with his girlfriend, in a Lotus Elise. He'd bought a patio lounger and wouldn't wait for delivery. He plonked his g/f in the passenger seat and set the 6ft box in front of her, sticking up almost vertically above the windscreen. On him leaving the car park, I could just about make out his girlfriend's head, pushed sideways onto the seat, with the lounger box pressed against her right ear.

She did not look happy.
