More Elvington pictures

Track ones are terrible I'm afraid but you can can a vague idea that a coloured block was driving along another block near some green stuff or some gret stuff :)

If anyone wants a hi-res picture of the shoe feel free to get in touch.

Hopefully I'll have a new camera for the next one so I can get a bit more zoomage without it going to crap.

The 'pan' looks a bit shoddy.

I just got really bored trying to patch up a missing bit so went 'freestyle', it was only an MX5 so it wasn't too important, I might paste a horse in there to hide the mess though....

Can't believe you were there and I never got to say hello - mind, I ended up not texting Goto10 as well like I was meant to - sorry Steve!

Anyway - Mitch.. Why.. why did you take a photo of my shoe? ( http://www.megaboost.co.uk/imoc/elvingt ... _4352.html )

I was under the impression you had cancelled so didn't even bother looking for you - I was sure I'd read something about you not having enough cash to make it?

I took that to see if anyone would claim it, I wasn't expecting it to be this easy though :)

Yeah you bumnut, I hope you feel guilty - I had to sit there in my hotel room, cold, alone, unwanted...*sniff*

(I got to the hotel at about 2230 on Friday, wasn't in the mood for doing anything anyway ;) )

I didn't see you on the day either, probably because I don't know what you look like... :)

I didn't - I funded the day by selling a bunch of stuff that I hadn't yet fitted to the car (TRD member braces, bonnet & boot gas struts and Goodridge brake hoses) to people on the day..

I took that to see if anyone would claim it, I wasn't expecting it to be this easy though :)

Heh :) I had my work shoes in the car - after my first run out I got fed up of hearing them going "clunk" in the rear storage bins ;)

Say what you mean, Steve ;)

We arrived pretty late too - well past 8pm in the end, had a quick meal in the hotel, a drink, met Goldy briefly and then staggered off to bed, so much the same as you really.

Ruddy knackered now though!

I didn't see you on the day either, probably because I don't know what you look like... :)

That's no excuse, Dale (Dale_V) found me somehow :P (Actually.. I wonder how he found me.. )

Oi :clown: I lent a few bin bags to other people when there were a some spots of rain in the morning, but luckily it didn't come to anything. I can only lay clam to a couple of bin bags ;)

Once I put a few things down on the grass, everyone seemed to cotton onto the idea and dump all their stuff too. There's no way all that would have fitted in a Roadster

Some great pictures there Mr C. =D> This one seemed to catch the mood of the day really well for me :

People enjoying driving their '2s, relaxing and chatting ... :thumleft:

Err, and yes, this is my trackday shed^H^H^H^H Mk1 - I may get around to tarting up the rust, but having got it through its MOT a week back I'm not sure I can be bothered so long as it drives well

Dunno whos it was.... but it was pretty quick round the track, the owner was managing to get the back end out on that a fair bit as well

That'll have been DoM - he used to have a Mk1SC, and come on the IMOC Nurburgring trip, hence the guest invite to Elvington.

I didn't get a passenger ride in it this time, but at the 'ring it was impressive - smooth effortless revving (to 8.5k?), but without the same torque you get from forced induction ..
