Looking for a hand to finish rebuilding MR2 in West Lothian

Hey guys,

My project car has been on the go for nearly 2 years now and needs one last push to get it running. I am down to a pipe on the front (easy enough) and some earth straps, vacuum pipes and a couple of stay bars in the engine bay (not so easy).

I have searched the BGB and scrap yards to see where these vacuum pipes go but cannot find it for love nor money.

If someone on here who owns a Rev 1 N/A near Bathgate/Livingston/Broxburn area and would be free either this afternoon or Tomorrow (only get Wednesday/Thursdays off) or next week on the same days I would love to check your engines to see where these pipes and other little niggly bits go!

so close to being able to start the car after 2 years and I just want over this last hurdle so I can then concentrate on getting it ready to prep for an MOT.

If anyone would be free and willing to donate some time and help it would be greatly appreciated

Your best bets are hmltnangel (I think that's his username here), a fellow called Dale, who has had a few turbos and rebuilt them as well and is based in Bathgate area, or a guy called Calum Jaffray (don't think he uses this forum much, can give you his number), based in Ratho, who knows 2s inside and out and would definitely be able to fix it for you.

Also, there's an Edinburgh MR2 club on Facebook, if you use Facebook you should definitely get on there (Dale and Calum both contactable through it).

Dale is the best guy to speak to I think,we've got a load of parts at the yard from a n/a we stripped so may be of use.
