The autosolo went well!
had a good bit of fun doing this

and after 3 runs my tyres went from

This...

To this!!

Image

Didnt even make it till lunch time :-k

Anyway ive finished the customers turbo conversion so got to crack on with my car for once \:D/

only 4 weeks untill werrington hillclimb so need to get my ar$e in gear. still need to fit cv joints, gearbox seals, rev1 subframe, tyres etc....the list goes on.

the first job was the longer studs as ive changed to abs hubs for the traction control

Hammer time!

Image

does anyone have a simple way to get these in?
this is not the easiest

Image

all in!

Image

got on with the cv joints.

Image

the abs cables have been damaged in the past so i decided to repair them (again)

Image

some how grease or something has got onto the wires so they wouldn't solder so just crimped plug on them

Image

Managed to get started on the rev1 subframe today

Image

cleaned, scrapped and wire brushed

Image

nice thick coat of hammerite

Image

not sure what colour to have it this year :-k

Thought id strip and grease up the control arms
so gave them a good soaking with a bit of 40

Image

stripped them down. came apart nice and easy

Image

and all back together
