[Mk2] [Turbo] abs fault code clearing

please can some one help me as i am having alot of trouble clearing the fault codes. i am bridging e1 and tc and i get the abs light on constantly and the p/s light flashing but after pressing the pedal 8 time in 3 sec i cant get it to clear.

Have you tried pulling the battery positive for a min ?

I tryed a hard re set but will give it another go. If there is any one in norwich who can sort it let me know

why?? just need to get it sorted so i can get the car mot done and then put her up for sale :pale:

It's not clearing because the ABS ECU is throwing it's own code, probably due to a wheel speed sensor being dead.

You need to read the ABS ECU fault codes, not the Engine ECU.

There's a plug in the frunk you need to disconnect in order to get the ABS ECU to give up it's fault code.

i have read the fault codes and got code 35 n/s/f or o/s/r sensor replaced the o/s/r sensor and checked the sensors and the fronts match each other and the rears match. but when trying to clear the codes i cant get ant thing to happen.
