Re: suspension uprade ?
Im running Eibach springs, they are firm but very compliant even with the shocking condition of roads at present

Re: suspension uprade ?
Opinion seems divided on them for some reason, but for me, my Apex
-30mm
(new in box when bought) springs have been great, on stock shocks.
No change from regular springs, I'd say, but visually much improved.
I also catch my mudflaps on speedbumps but that is another issue altogether.

Re: suspension uprade ?
I ran apex springs on my rev1 on track and found them fairly soft, probably quite well suited to road use

I think the best way is to have a go in a few peoples cars and decide what feels best for you

I personally had my car on Teins with 17" and fully polybushed, and the Elise has totally solid nytralite bushes with GAZ gold pro coilovers and eibach springs and I find that fine on the road, maybe I'm just nuts.
