What's My MR2 Track Car Worth

Post by ej74 »

Thinking of selling as the need for more power !

Any idea on price ? Many Thanks in Advance

Spec listed below

ROAD LEGAL (12 months MOT)
1990 Toyota MR2 N/A SW20 Mk2 Rev 1
Matt black

149k, original engine and gearbox, no Power steering or ABS
Tax Oct 2012
Part SH and a stack full of bills and spare key

Car has been fully stripped and lightened, including Carpets, Interior panels, Dash, Electrics and opening and locking mechanisms.

The last recorded weight of the car was around 1050 kg including the standard front seats, T-bar in place and ½ tank of fuel
Car has done 6 track days this year in my ownership and performed faultless every time, and even embarrasses more powerful cars through the bends due to the Toyo 888’s.

Honest answer? Rev1 NA with 150k on the clock and has been stripped and tracked :-k

Not a hell of a lot I'm afraid :(

Your best bet is to find someone looking for a replacement shell, maybe for a race car...you should advertise it on the MR2 Championship forum. The lack of power steering maybe a bonus :thumleft:

Hope that's slightly helpful :eye:
