NW Drive out 24th March **CANCELLED** To be rescheduled sorry

Hi chaps and chepeses, re the NW Drive out i threatened to sort,

well! 24th March and a drive out & about i know its different from the initial route but still my backyard so to speak ( the current Mrs W from these parts) we chatted about, but still inviting all the same i hope? find main part of route here

ok so we meet up at the greenberfield locks there a little car park if that fills up we will be ok parking on the road side, there's a small cafe (aka hut) that i am hoping will be open to serve at least some hot tea & coffee, i will check with them this weekend,

For meeting point use BB18 5SU if you look at the image below you can see the post code is for the lock keeper cottage & farm next door you can see you just need to go round slightly if your coming from the west or you will see car park first if from the east Lee & Steve via A59?



There's the locks with the pump house and quaint lockeepers cottage, if you fancy a quick walk about, if anyone gets desperate for anything :blink: my house is 5 mins away.

i was thinking meet around 9.30? or 10 am if better for you guys? head off to devils bridge have a look see at the bikes etc the chuck wagon will be there,

head off up to sedburgh

over to Hawes there will be food and drink available there we can have a stop over, a walk around etc,

head down to settle, we can stop again or depending on the time those that want to scoot off. hope that's ok with everyone?

anyone want more detail directions to get to the meeting point just ask :th: look forward to anyone joining in

yeah be good hopefully will make up for the lad & i none show at the dancing on ice meet

will pop a post code up and direction for the meeting point, will prob knock a sign or two up to mark the small turn of the main road down to the locks

Okay, I've had a word with Mark and we are up for it. We'll have Indy paws with us, but it looks like there will be the opportunity for her to get out and have a little walk in places, so should be fine.

Further update folks

Weather forecast for my neck of the woods & hawes looks like snow

I will keep a close eye on this if it looks like the weathers will be bad I will make a call on going ahead or cancelling

Just round our way its surprising how a flurry soon turns to a white out
