I Thought it was time to post this up seeing as this car has been owned by 2 members on here

After owning a Rev 3 N/A for 3 1/2 years I thought it was time to give turbo power a go.

Previous stead:

I spotted Jons for sale post back in January.

So I arranged to view the car one weekend, after a good look round with a mate

& a quick 5mph drive around a farmers yard, I liked it so much I bought it on the spot and spent the 2 1/2 hour drive home grinning at the sound

& power of this beastie

Once it was back, a mate of mine who loves detailing cars couldn't resist popping over

& giving it a coat of polish

& wax.

Afterwards, we stood back in awe of the shiny paint work that was hiding underneath the layer of dirt that was present when I picked it up

- Jon did say he spent more time driving it than cleaning it!

And so the changes began, I swapped the stock gear knob for a weighty Greddy unit and the small

(and possibly illegal!) front number plate was swapped for the square plate found in the passenger seat.

Then the Nur was swapped for a Japspeed.

As much as I love the Nur, it was far too loud for me on the inside of the car, especially as I use the car daily.

Plus I am a fan of the twin exit's on these cars.

It turns out that whilst the Japspeed is quite a bit quieter on the inside, it's louder on the outside, people have commented that it can be heard from over half a mile away at low revs

Next up I set up the Gizzmo boost controller with a few personal settings.

It's still running at 0.9 bar so well within the limits of the stock fuelling but it comes on quicker

& stronger than before giving the car more mid range punch

- ideal for daily driving

& suits my driving style

This is how the car stands now, however it is soon the change again.

I've picked up a standard bonnet to replace the carbon bonnet currently fitted, the carbon is very nice and works well on this car however I do prefer the standard look.

I've also got some HKS brake hoses to go on

& a neat little mod for the front sidelights/indicators.

Anyway, that's enough of my ramblings!
