Paisley Freight...useless!!!

Post by Ryan S »

booked with them on Thursday for collection of a bumper on Friday, low and behold they didn't turn up, no phonecall or notice, just no collection, the seller and I have been trying to work out suitable a collection day for weeks now (combination of working and me being on holiday), he's been good enough to keep hold of the item until we could arrange collection,

anyway, turns out their offices are closed today, I had the car booked into the bodyshop for fitting and fettling and now i'm gonna have to cancel, making me look like a total mug on all accounts, I've paid through pypal so i'll be filing a dispute....

RAAAAAAGING!!!!!

just so angry pete, all the effort that has went into arranging this and it's the courier company that's f*cked it up for us :(

End of the day its not Paisley Freights fault, its the courier companies fault. Paisley Freight just have an account with the courier company.

Really with all these booking companies it depends on what your local City Link / UPS / DHL etc are like :thumleft:

sadly all courier booking agents have disclaimers on their sites that say collection is not 100% guaranteed

i'll be filing a paypal dispute once it's delivered, why even bother arranging anything with anyone if it's left in the hands of these companies, every single email i sent them was replied by a different member of customer services as well, utterly disgraceful!! i'll be filing a dispute with shiply.com as well, £5.99 for bu88er all!!!!

Maybe there's an issue with your address? I've used them countless times at different addresses and never had an issue. Their fixed price system for sending car parts makes life so easy!

Just bought a set of alloys and tyres in 4packages but 1 delivery from another member on here who has been a pleasure to deal with, used paisley freight to send them, on the day i was supposed to receive them i got half the delivery from tnt, had to pick up the other half from depot the next day as i had no time to wait about between 8 and 6 for a delivery the day after i should have got them as i had work. Whether it be paisley freight or tnts fault ill be looking for an explanation from them as it caused alot of hassle and stress for me!

i used them to send some wings and a bumper, two boxes in total.
looked on their site and it worked out cheaper to send as boxes rather than parts. as they were in boxes thought that would be OK.
there was a problem during paying online and it ended up taking payment twice.
when i called them to sort it out was told ' well as it was car parts it should have cost more anyway'
i couldn't get an explanation of why it made any difference what was in the boxes as the size and weight had been declared correctly.
they refused to refund the extra payment and said that i should think my self lucky they weren't asking for more
i wont use them again :(

Definitely not a problem with my address at this end! I live in a really easy to find place in the middle of Milton Keynes. I'm selling a few other car bits this week and will be making sure not to use them. :)
