Trim behind seats, removal

Post by sbk1972 »

Hi there,
I need to remove the trim behind the seats around the rear wall, and covering the panels below the rear windows.

I want to sort a rattle and remove the air intakes which requires the interior trim removed.

Any pics or suggestions ?

Remove rear cubby boxes - Held in with 3 screws along the back and 3 push fasteners along the top front.

Where the cubby box used to meet the trim under the rear windows you should see two little black fasteners. Push the centres of them inwards and then they should pull out.
Once you've done this its just a case of carefully pulling the trim away from the car. Its held in with 5 or 6 'pop in' type fasteners.

Hope that helps :thumleft:

dont forget the drivers sie one has the engine lid release lever, the surround has a screw holding it in and the lever surround trim should be carefully removed so as not to brak th little plastic locating tab (assuming its not already been broken)
